Our aims are to:

Promote a better understanding of the value of music (and the copyrights in music);

Promote and protect the economic rights of creators and administrators of copyright in music and those who administer the copyright;

Provide opportunities for the role of music publishers to be better understood;
-
Represent the interests of music publishers to government, the music industry and the public;
-
Work with other members of the music industry to increase the creation, use and enjoyment of music across Australia and New Zealand.
2010 Call for AMPAL Board Nominations
In accordance with the AMPAL Constitution, nominations for the position of Board Director can be received up to 60 days prior to the date of the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The date for the AMPAL AGM is the 18th November 2010. Accordingly, nominations for the position of AMPAL Board Director must be received by the Company Secretary at the APRA/AMCOS head office in Sydney, by no later than close of business, Friday 17th September 2010.
Details of nominees will be provided to all eligible full members prior to the AGM and in accordance with the AMPAL Constitution. You can read the constitution at here.
